Transversal cloud Architect

We are looking for an Cloud Architect who will be responsible :

-  for leading the creation of a technology framework and providing technical leadership in support of initiatives from business and Architecture services.

-  for designing cloud and on-premises platforms, designing transversal capabilities and ensuring critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery.

● Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for end-to-end architecture

● Develop a library of deployable and documented design patterns

● Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why,” and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation

● Maintain overall industry knowledge on latest trends, technology, etc. 

● Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services

● Architect & Design solutions for cloud (e.g. Azure, OCI) and on-premises which are optimal, secure, efficient, scalable, resilient and reliable, and at the same time are compliant with our standards and policies.

● Work with engineering teams for designing, building & productionizing components that will grow in capability while being multi-tenant, global, scalable & highly available.

● Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for applications

● Work closely with Enterprise Architecture to review architectures during project phases.

● Work closely with businesses and Digital teams to implement sustainable solution meeting requirements and standards

● Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment

● Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional/non-functional requirements 

● Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners 

● Ensure delivered solutions are realized in time frame committed; work in conjunction with project sponsors to size and manage scope and risk 

● Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to Global Architectures, deployment, and operations

● Provide thought leadership in industry and to fellow team members across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements 

● Demonstrate forward thinking around where the organization is going and how technology can support these efforts 

● Experience with Cloud Providers (Azure or OCI) enterprise implementations

● Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments

● Knowledge of all components of a technical & solution architecture

● Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes

● Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies

● Demonstrate knowledge of Global Architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)

● Fluent in English (C1 minimum)

● Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and methodologies

Work experience: 

● At least 5 years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications

Minimum education level: 

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
