The customer is looking for an IT Configuration Manager.
The rôle consist in :
- ensuring that all data regarding IT assets, configurations, and dependencies are properly tracked, maintained, and governed.

Job scope:
The CMDB platform is a Service Now Platform. The service now platform management is managed globally by a global team
The IT Configuration Manager will be responsible to ensure the accurate integration and maintenance of asset data in the CMDB, define requirement around discovery tools and integration of asset data from various sources.
The CMDB Governance will ensure that all data regarding IT assets, configurations, and dependencies are properly tracked, maintained, and governed. The Key components of the CMDB Governance will be :
- Data integrity
- Relationship mapping
- Change management integration
- Security and access control
The IT Configuration Manager will be responsible to deliver the below processes
1) Data Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce data standards to ensure CMDB integrity and accuracy. Perform regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
2) Relationship Mapping: Ensure proper mapping of relationships between configuration items (CIs) and associated services, applications, infrastructure, and dependencies.
3) Change and Incident Integration: Work with Change and Incident Management teams to ensure the CMDB is updated with changes, incidents, and asset movements, ensuring that data is always current.
4) Security and Permissions: Enforce security controls to protect sensitive data if any, ensuring that only authorized users can access and modify CMDB information.
5) Automation: Build strong relationship with Platform Owner in order to maintain an up-to-date CMDB with minimal manual intervention thanks to automated discovery and relationship mapping mechanism.
6) Continuous Improvement: Monitor CMDB KPIs and regularly improve the data quality, process alignment, and user experience.
Must have:
• English: Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Minimum of 3 years acting as Configuration Manager
• Technical skills as below :
- Understanding of IT Systems: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and applications.
- Configuration Management Tools: Proficiency in using configuration management tools and software. Knowledge of ServiceNow would really be a +
- Change Management: Familiarity with change management processes and how they integrate with configuration management.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot configuration issues.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure configurations are accurate and consistent.

- Documentation: Strong skills in documenting configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in configuration management processes.
• Project Management:
- Planning and Organization: Skills in planning, organizing, and managing configuration management activities and projects.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Communication Skills:
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with other IT teams, stakeholders, and Management.
- Clear Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
• Adaptability:
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes as the IT landscape evolves.
• Customer Focus:
- Service Orientation: Understanding the importance of delivering high-quality service to internal and external customers.

Minimum education level: Degree in an IT, Engineering or other relevant subject.
