Further to the implementation of a  global and unique Core HR system end of 2021, Customer is launching a global Program for Payroll Harmonization.

Cusotmer currently payroll covers approximately 15000 employees in 30 countries on a decentralized operating model. Payroll processes are organized on country or legal entity level supported through local teams and infrastructures/services. The organization currently has approximately 25 different payroll systems operational with locally organized upstream and downstream integrations.
 
Payroll harmonization program will be engaged through a global Call for Bid late 2021 to assess and select the most comprehensive and competitive vendor to deliver Payroll as a service (every time it’s possible), to offer Payroll solutions (when required by country regulation and to support Payroll upstream and downstream interfaces implementations in line with internal IT standards.
 
Customer will then engage on a multi-year roadmap with the awarded vendor to implement new Payroll solutions and services in all countries.
 
To support this initiative, our IT department is looking for a Project Manager with a solid HR Payroll and ERP background.
Working on the global Payroll rationalization Program, from the call for bid and selection phase, this role is to oversee and drive the Project for all IT related aspects, in close collaboration with the HR Project leadership.
The IT Project Manager drives the system related assessment during the call for bid phase, ensuring bidders are fully evaluated against IT architecture and CyberSecurity standards, technical consistency of the answers and demonstrated expertise on similar implementations.
 
The IT Project Manager drives the IT project and budget evaluation phase based on the retained scope, solution, architecture and supports Payroll Harmonization Business Case establishment for IT related aspects.
 
The IT Project Manager manages Payroll Harmonization IT implementation, driving all involved technical teams (architects, developers onshore and offshore, security and infrastructure groups, testers, operations) to design, schedule and secure integration & deliveries associated to Payroll implementations.
 
The IT Project Manager supports IT and Business leadership decisions about project strategic and tactical orientations. Bringing perspective between all the technical teams involved, he/she supports the PMO department providing visibility on the status, progress and risks.

Job scope: 

Payroll Harmonization IT Project Manager role is to act as a global leader on all Payroll Harmonization IT Project activities, to ensure vendor selection, project definition and delivery activities are under control and to support communication & coordination with the various teams involved.

Role would typically include: 
- Support to call for bid initiation for all systems related aspects
- Support to call for bid evaluation and vendor selection for all systems related aspects 
- Support to Project framing and Business Case establishment for all systems related aspects
- Support to high level architecture assessment, working with various field experts and selecting the most efficient sourcing and technological option
- Detailed design around target solution, driving specification phase with Business analysts
- Technical activities sequence and scheduling avoiding technical conflict and reducing dependencies between actions
- Overview and technical validation on integration deliveries
- Close, “hands on”, progress follow-up through very frequent reviews and proactive communication to all delivery groups 
- Reporting including management escalation on issues 
- Technical deviation management: alternative approaches, mitigation actions, contingency suggestions
- Release management and Operations preparation with Run teams

Profile:

Must have: 
o 15 years of professional experience in IT organizations including 5+ years of experience on Payroll implementation projects 
o Demonstrated experience on global and high visibility Program interfacing with Senior IT and Business leadership
o Demonstrated ability to manage multiple interfaces & deal with IT resources in international context
o Seasoned T project management skills & experience involving global teams and major programs
o Demonstrated experience on global systems related due diligence
o Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
o Strong technical background with major Payroll vendors, ERP and HCM solutions and procedural extension technologies (SAP PI, Oracle PL/SQL, Web Services…)
o Some technical background on Data Integration technologies (Oracle Database systems, BizTalk, SSIS) 
o Customer oriented, quality minded and proactive approach on all issues
o Proven analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
o Team player and process-oriented spirit

Nice to have: 
o PMI/PRINCE2 Project Management certification
o IT Infrastructure project experience
o Experience on HR Applications portfolio management
o Experience on Business Intelligence implementations and technologies (Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud)
o Knowledge on Master Data Management approach and governance
o Technology enthusiasm, quick learner
o AGILE Project experience
o ITIL v3 processes certification or seasoned experience

Work experience: +15 years

Minimum education level: Master’s degree Computer Science, Telecommunication or scientific related field
