The Network architect aims to:
• define and/or develop architectures according to Customer defined governance
• meet Customer needs and opportunities in term of architecture
• ensure compliance with good practice and control on architectural impacts and costs
• facilitate the integration of technical or applicative products within Customer Information System ensuring compliance with conformity and consistency rules
Prestations demandées : Main activities :
The Network Architect will
• Defines architectures that address Customer needs, opportunities or problems
• Collaborates with project managers to ensure project success
• Develop project timelines for implementing new technologies and architecture
• Contribute to budgeting and understand the financial impact of technology decisions
• Write functional requirements/specifications documents
• Keep up to date on infrastructure technology
• Assess competitors and the types of technology they use
• Guide the selection, implementation and deployment processes for new technology roll-outs
• Training and mentoring of a second person to develop to the role of a network architect
Manager : Networks team leader
School achievement : BAC +4, +5 or equivalent, Engineer school (Network specialization) or specialized training (schools or faculties)
Training / Speciality : IT technology
Work experience in speciality : 5 years minimum in IT Architecture, Experience in training and coaching
Global work experience : 10 years minimum in IT Infrastrcture and Production domains, 5 years in Networking included
Skills:
Essential :
• Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Good knowledge in network services automation
• Excellent abilities in Training and coaching
Desirable :
• Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr)
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing and Switching (CCIE)
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Data Center
• VMware VCP6-NV
• Any other technology of its area having been adopted by Customer over time
