Our customer is looking for a Project Manager – Tax and Transactional Accounting.
In this position, the Project Manager will oversee:
- The OneGBS Project, which involves implementing custom applications in ServiceNow App Engine to support all our GBS (Global Business Services) domains (P2P, Finance, Legal, HR, Functional Application Support, etc.) in their operations and improve their productivity.
- The applications ABBYY (OCR tool), ANAPLAN (lease accounting), as well as other smaller tax applications within the BAU (Business-As-Usual) scope, ensuring their smooth operation and continuous improvement.
- Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee the migration to the ServiceNow Employee Service Center (ESC) portal, ensuring a seamless transition, enhanced user experience, and alignment with IT best practices.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Project Management:
- Lead the OneGBS Project, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the migration to the ServiceNow Employee Service Center (ESC) portal, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption.
- Apply agile methodology to manage the project, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
- Define and document project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Write detailed specifications for OneGBS upcoming use cases
- Actively participate in testing to ensure the solution meets business needs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT architecture, data, security, and ERP teams, to deliver project milestones.
Application Management:
- Oversee ABBYY, ANAPLAN, and other small tax applications for BAU operations, ensuring smooth functioning and addressing enhancement requests.
- Act as the escalation point for incidents related to tax and OCR applications, ensuring
resolution through ServiceNow.
- Manage Level 2/3 support for the application portfolio, ensuring adherence to best
practices and standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, including cartography and administration guides, for
the application landscape.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
Enhancements and Continuous Improvement:
- Drive enhancements and service delivery initiatives in alignment with defined standards
and methods.
- Collaborate closely with the GBS team located in India, ensuring effective communication
and alignment on deliverables.
- Establish and maintain regular communication with GBS leadership and other key
stakeholders to align IT strategies with business needs.
- Work with APIs to enable seamless integration between applications and other systems.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with SOX, ISA, and internal control requirements for the applications
in scope.
- Coordinate knowledge transfer and task handover to Level 1 support teams.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
(Educational/Professional): Master’s degree in IT and/or finance
Knowledge/Skills:
• IT or finance Background
• Agile methodology
• IT project management with a focus on finance systems.
• Experience working with APIs
• AP (Accounts Payable) dematerialization processes
• Service- now and/or ITIL knowledge.
• Customer oriented, quality minded and proactive approach
• Strong organization skills and autonomy.
• Ability to work and collaborate with offshore resources
• English level: fluent
Experience: 5 years’ experience on IT project management.
